ABOUT THE ROLE OF ATHEISTIC DISCOURSE IN THE HISTORY OF MEDIEVAL EUROPEAN CIVILIZATION

Abstract. In the article the attempt is made to consider the historical place of atheistic discourse and to show its role in the history of European civilization. Its role in the development of three socio-cultural models (ancient, medieval and new-temporal ones) is considered. It is concluded that the civilization significance of atheism is the mechanism of the verification of the existing paradigm.
