THE BIRTH OF THE SECOND WAVE OF THE FRENCH CINEMA AVANT-GARDE

Abstract. The article is devoted to the very first works of the second wave of the French cinema avant-garde, which was started with Dadaistic experiments. Artistic practice of Dadaism becomes the basis for the renewal of the existing cinematograph model of the 1920s. In the article the author pays attention not only to the description of the general situation connected with the avant-garde origin but also to the analysis of some of the symbolic works of this trend.
