Abstract.
The article reveals the content of the notion fleshliness in the context of semiotic relations image-concept by the example of I. Efremov's novel Tais of Athens text. The author proceeds from two perspectives combining: fleshliness phenomenon vision in archaic culture and view on the problem using semiotic methodology (Charles Sanders Peirce, Slavoj Žižek).
