Abstract.
The article analyzes the mythological model of ancient Egyptians' world arrangement by the example of the ideas concerning netherworld organization. The author draws an analogy between ancient Egyptians' ideas about the horizontal arrangement of the netherworld Duat and the ideas about every living thing's world and also considers the ways and methods of the complication of afterlife space structure with time.
