Abstract. The author analyzes the new interpretation of values in design theory and practice in post-modernism epoch. The development of the axiological ideas of post-modernism design proceeds from new social, psychological and aesthetic guidelines of both subjects of inter-subject interaction - an artist-designer and a consumer.
