Abstract.
The article reveals the content of the organizational and practical activity of the primary sub-units and units of Moscow local anti-aircraft defense while liquidating the consequences of the first German-fascist massed air raids on the capital during Great Patriotic War. The author pays special attention to the courageous and resolute actions of Moscow anti-aircraft defense fighters and Moscow population aimed at extinguishing fire and ignitions at the city objects.
