Abstract.
The article reveals the character and problems of Russian water transport management reorganization as an integral part of the economic and military system of the country which developed during the period of river and sea fleets nationalization. Within the limits of this problem it is necessary to reveal the place and role of the country's water transport during the period of the Russian merchant fleet nationalization and the processes of water transport management reorganization during the years of merchant fleet nationalization.
