LEGAL REGULATION OF PRIVATEERS' BUSINESS IN ENGLAND IN THE 70S OF THE XVITH CENTURY

Abstract. The article reveals the problem of the legal regulation of privateers' business in England in the 70s of the XVIth century. The author pays special attention to the reasons which compelled the English government to toughen control over privateers. Particularly emphasizing the role of the two basic legislative acts approved by the English government in 1572 and 1575 the author focuses his attention at the measures on their realization.
