NEW IMPERIALISM CONCEPTION IN GREAT BRITAIN AT THE END OF THE XIXTH CENTURY: PROJECTING THE INFRASTRUCTURE OF GLOBAL COMMUNICATIONS

Abstract. The article contains the brief analysis of new imperialism conception in Great Britain at the end of the XIXth century as the theoretical model of the development of the system of the infrastructure of global communications, steamship transport and telegraph. The author analyzes the publications of A. S. Hurd, C. A. Moreing, H. W. Wilson and J. Henniker Heaton on this problem and supposes that British politicians and experts created the effective model of the creation of the infrastructure system of global communications as the instrument of the British empire development.
