Abstract.
The author considers the role of natural sciences of the XIXth century in the formation of general organizational science - tectology - and pays special attention to the achievements and discoveries in such fields of science as physics, biology, chemistry and physiology which allowed A. A. Bogdanov developing the conception of selection and dynamic balance playing central role in tectology.
