Abstract. The authors undertake the attempt to separate the notions social compulsion and social violence using both social-philosophical apparatus and mathematical logics rules and consider social compulsion methods used in modern social practices in Russian society; they also tackle the counter-examples connected both with social compulsion and social violence. The ultimate goal of the article is the revelation of differences between social compulsion and social violence.
