Abstract.
The author considers the events which took place in the town of Lebedyan' in the middle of the XVIIth century, were connected with the confrontation of the authorities and local community and led to disorders. Disorders in Lebedyan' are the example of the voivode and people interaction in province but these disorders haven't been studied by historical science so far.
