Abstract. The author reveals some aspects of the interrelations of Russian authorities with the peoples of the Russian Empire in the 1730s-1740s, considers the forms and methods of state policy realization in relation to Ural and Ciscaucasia peoples during the period of the complication of the situation within these frontier territories and pays special attention to studying the economic component of this policy and political measures of local administration. At the same time the authorities' policy in relation to Russian nationals is coordinated with foreign policy situation which to a large extent determined the choice of the methods of influence on Russian peoples.
