F. M. DOSTOEVSKY'S CREATIVE WORK ROLE IN EXISTENTIALISM FORMATION

Abstract. The author analyzes Dostoyevsky's creative heritage influence on the European existentialism representatives differentiating between the ideas of atheistic existentialism representatives and the Russian writer thinking about human nature, social disposition and the anarchic element of freedom and comes to the conclusion that Dostoevsky cannot be completely reckoned among the ancestors of this philosophical direction.
