CONTROVERSIAL STATE INDEPENDENCE RECOGNITION IN MODERN WORLD POLITICS

Abstract. The author tells about the international institution of recognition within the framework of controversial states theory, reveals the political conjuncture, historical past and political players' personalities in the process of recognizing controversial states independence that is not reduced to the formal-juridical character of the problem, considers political neoinstitutionalism as the main methodological approach to researching and substantiates the principles of a controversial state political recognition applying statehood indices and international influence potential.
