Abstract.
The author shows that in the modern world the determining factor of the West borders demarcation is the worldview based on the Scripture. The fact that a man has rights, regardless of nationality, religion, sex, etc. is the confirmation of Western civilization Christian foundations. The principles of biblical anthropology, having gone through secularization, were adopted by the Europeans and were included into humanistic worldview.
