SPACE COLOUR DESIGN IN SOCIAL UTOPIAS OF THE ХIХTH CENTURY

Abstract.
The author analyzes the content and formal characteristics of the utopian settlements colour images created by the social reformers of the XIXth century, reveals R. Owen's ideal city projects implemented in New Larnaca (Scotland) and New Harmony (Indiana), analyzes the colour arrangement principles of the fantastic cities of Ch. Fourier, J. B. A. Gaudin, F. Buonarroti, E. Cabet, and determines and describes the space colour designs features of the social utopias of the XIXth century.
