Abstract. The author reveals the content of the notions social heritage and inheritance, pays special attention to the ontology of social inheritance, revealing the procedural nature of relations, flowing through the inevitable dialogue with the past, which includes the acquisition and interpretation of both verbal and non-verbal components of outgoing culture and emphasizes social-historical heritage foundation in every area of human experience, especially in spiritual-symbolic sphere - social-cultural activity matrix, but these stereotypes are inviolable only as long as they meet the general principle of socium - its homeostasis.
