Abstract.
The authors reveal the content of the notion soul in philosophy of antiquity, and pay special attention to this phenomenon consideration in Plato's doctrines, where human soul is regarded as the reduced image of the world soul, as self-moving beginning, connecting spiritual and external worlds.
