Abstract.
The author analyzes the theoretical aspects of early Christians' views on court and legal proceedings as set forth in the book On Bishops, Presbyters and Deacons which is the part of the Christian literature ancient monument Decrees of the Holy Apostles through Clement, Bishop and Roman Citizen, shows that the document refers to the IInd-IVth centuries BC and is the source of church law that influenced the formation of church court foundations among Christians, and reveals the fundamental principles underlying the processes of church court creation.
