ANTI-EPIDEMIC MEASURES LEGAL REGULATION DURING THE REIGN OF PAUL I

Abstract. The author discusses the formation of anti-epidemic measures state system in the Russian Empire at the end of the XVIIIth - in the XIXth century, pays particular attention to the era of Emperor Paul I, during whose reign the foundations of legislative and enforcement levels regulation in this area were provided, and for the first time analyzes the Charter of Border and Port Quarantine from July 7, 1800, which was the first codification in native sanitary medicine.
