Abstract. The author researches the history of Buddhist sacred texts reproduction in South, North-East and South-East Asia from the time of their creation till the present day, reveals the ways of Buddhist canon reproduction and its replication technology evolution, and considers the reasons of Buddhist communities' increased interest to the copying of Tripiṭaka.
