Abstract.
The author reveals the formation of printed materials distribution system within Mordovia region by the example of the district administrative units of Penza, Tambov, Simbirsk provinces, the territories, which at the end of the 1920s - the first half of the 1930s became a part of Mordovia, shows the process of new bookselling network formation during the first years of soviet power, and pays special attention to the Central Agency of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee (Central Press) activity and its low level structures.
