NEGATIVITY PRINCIPLE AND SCIENCE IDEA IN HEGEL'S PHENOMENOLOGY OF SPIRIT

Abstract. The author analyzes negativity principle in Hegel's philosophy defined as absolute science, pays special attention to the fact consideration that the notion of negativity according to Hegel expresses not the denial of any object in our thinking implying its non-existence, but the certainty of matter existence, and shows that in this respect negativity is directly and ingenuously understood by Hegel as by virtue of what spirit exists for itself as selfhood and absolute subject.
