NATIONAL TRADITIONS IN SOUTHERN URAL RESIDENTIAL ARCHITECTURE FORMATION OF THE XVIIITH-XIXTH CENTURIES

Abstract. The author considers the features of the main ethnic groups' dwellings in Southern Ural of the XVIIIth - the first half of the XIXth century, conducts the analysis of national architectural traditions and their embodiment in concrete structures basing on eyewitnesses' recollections and archival researches, and reveals portable and stationary dwellings main types by material, planning layout and farmstead territory planning, as well as the peculiarities of the interior organization of ethnic groups' national dwellings.
