Abstract. The authors conduct the social-philosophical analysis of individual's self-consciousness formation within the following risk-bearing social spheres of modern Russian society: public health, education, religion, family and professional activity, and also study the problems of modern mass communications and Russian modernization processes specificity in the aspects of their impact on human consciousness.
