Abstract.
The author discusses the specific of the architecture formation of the Azerbaijan cities located within the coastal zones of the river Kura, analyzes the factors that influence the architectural-planning features of the cities under consideration, determines their current condition, and reveals further transformation aimed at creating architectural-planning and compositional connections with the river bed.
