Abstract.
The author designates the basic principles and stages of the anti-Cuban policy formation of the American States Organization (ASO) in the 1960s - 1970s on the basis of the analysis of the resolutions of the Consultative Meetings of the Ministers for Foreign Affairs of the member-countries of the Organization, and critically estimates the USA position and their influence on the character of the decisions made by the ASO in relation to Cuba.
