REFLECTION OF AMERICAN THEORETICAL APPROACHES TO SECURITY IN AMERICAN-RUSSIAN DIALOGUE

Abstract.
The author considers the conceptual notions and bases of American theoretical approaches to security, analyzes the U.S. attitude toward Russia in connection with the changes in the theoretical base of the U.S. global strategy, discusses modern views on a number of conceptions that constitute the theoretical foundation for the U.S. forming strategies, and reveals the actual challenges, which will dictate the necessity for the development of new approaches and directions in the context of the American-Russian dialogue.
