STRATEGY AND ACTIVITY OF COLLECTIVE SECURITY TREATY ORGANIZATION IN INTERNATIONAL ANALYSTS' ESTIMATIONS

Abstract. The author analyzes the adequacy of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) strategy and tactics interpretation on the part of the international scientific community, and also reveals the main tendencies in the estimations of the CSTO influence degree within the post-soviet space in such fundamental activity directions of the organization as counteraction against international terrorism and extremism, peacekeeping activity, and struggle with narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances illicit trafficking.
