Abstract.
The author defines the problem of studying the compositional features of the Altai painter V. Tereshchenko's works, undertakes the attempt to reveal a work content through the understanding of construction, describes the structural peculiarities of landscape image in the artist's works, determines the characteristic features in the works of this author, considers landscape as a specific form of reality reflection and the artist's thoughts and feelings expression, and tells that landscape image portraying real objects is a product of artistic imagination as the fundamental factor of art in realistic painting.
