Abstract.
The author reveals the features of system approach application in design theories, and tells that system approach, developed within the framework of philosophical methodology, interdisciplinary researches and synergy, allows considering design theory in a wide social context, hierarchical interconnections, and it helps to overcome one-sidedness and absolutization in design process understanding.
