Abstract.
The authors analyze the state of garden culture in Kirov city in the 30-50s of the ХХth century, describe the main actions carried out during that period in the garden named after Stepan Khalturin, present the detailed description of the landscape design of the garden, created by Anatolii Pavlovich Yuferev; and give the brief description of the main tendencies of park culture development within the Soviet Union in the 30-50s of the XXth century.
