Abstract.
The author considers the aspects of the formation of positive political picture of the world symbolic foundation in the process of political regime legitimation, emphasizes that one of the key factors of patriotism formation in Russia is the community of man and government, and pays special attention to the interaction between political and social concepts, which can be roughly described as “one’s own territory” (private fragments of spatial picture of the world) and “general territory” (space with certain state borders).
