Abstract.
The author analyzes I. V. Stalin’s culturological views, reveals some strange consistency – the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Russian Communist Party of Bolsheviks, in fact, hardly ever mentioned culture and cultural construction in fundamental for that time studies and theoretical papers, in his official speeches at the party congresses, conferences, the plenary sessions of the Central Committee. Such inattention to the most important sphere of the life activity of any society is unclear. What was that? Was it the leader’s forgetfulness or the lack of interest? The author quite convincingly shows and proves that Stalin’s position on this issue was not accidental; it was well thought out and had its own logic.
