Abstract. The authors research the idea of complementarity, which is to be conceptualized and “included” in general cultural, spiritual picture of the world. Various spiritual worlds - ethical, theoretical, etc. - are as if complementary to each other, acting as opposite, these types of the spiritual development of the world can constantly “feed” each other. This picture is not exhausted either by the spirit of “aestheticism” or the spirit of “theoritism” or the spirit aimed at the implementation of moral ideas. The spiritual picture of the world reflects the kind of values that is directed to the consolidation of “all-human” values.
