Abstract.
The author covers the history of the Crimean artists union, shows the role of this creative union in the artistic life of the peninsula from the moment of the creation till the present day, in the context of the artists union activity traces the history of exhibition movement in the Crimea, reveals the role of certain art centers of the peninsula in the work of the organization, covers the artists’ activity – the active members of the association, and analyzes the tendencies of the Crimean art development during the period under consideration: genre preferences, stylistic searching.
