Abstract.
The authors consider the problem of the worldview training of students in higher education establishments of Russia, which topicality is dictated by the need for the substantial modernization of domestic university education, trace the genesis and reveal the features of the content of the worldview training of students in Russian higher education establishments in the history of pedagogical science, emphasize the key directions, and determine the crisis states of university education system, influencing the process of familiarizing students with value paradigms required in our times.
