Abstract.
The author reveals the main directions, trends and some results of agrarian reforms in the history of the Russian village of the ХХ
th century, considers the evolution of agrarian relations system in historical aspect, studies the difficulties and contradictions of agrarian transformations, shows that the distinctive feature of the reforms was the forced nature of their implementation, and concludes that the agrarian reforms, implemented in the second half of the ХХ
th century, did not affect the fundamental bases of agriculture.
