CONSCIOUSNESS IN THIRD PERSON, OR “OTHER PEOPLE”

Abstract. The author considers the features of special epistemological difficulties encountered during the attempts of cognitive access to the consciousness of “the other”, in this regard analyzes the theoretical features of knowledge in first person and third person in terms of the method of their acquisition, substantiates the groundlessness of their hard opposition, which is typical of modern philosophical conceptions, and emphasizes the fundamental significance of other consciousness in the structure of any individual consciousness.
