Abstract.
He author tells that the topicality of the article is conditioned by the absence of the coverage of the topic under consideration in art critics’ works, adds that the Russian textile artists and designers are not familiar with the production of the workshop “AB MMF”, in the course of the study of textile works in hand weaving techniques shows the variety of the authorial interpretations of the oriental ornament in the Swedish carpets, by the example of Märta Måås-Fjetterström’s works mentions the influence of cultural-historical events on the textile art of Sweden at the beginning of the ХХ
th century, and pays particular attention to the designs and compositional schemes, and enumerates the auctions, where the vintage carpet samples of “AB MMF” were exhibited.
