Abstract.
The authors reveal the problems of personality formation process historical conditionality, study the question of personality role in history that they consider as one of the most topical questions on this problematic, and analyze the approaches of the Russian thinkers N. I. Kareev and P. L. Lavrov to this problem solution, which allows revealing the opportunities and uniqueness of the Russian philosophical tradition in various philosophical problems solution.
