Abstract. The authors substantiate that the prevailing trend in the sex-family-marriage relations of provincial population is transmutation processes that do not devaluate the values of marriage, family, and children. At the same time there is an increase in the proportion of radical transformation elements in these relations as a value component decay, as the transition from the value type of ​​such relations and practices to the instrumental one, based on individualistic hedonism.
