Abstract. The authors describe the results of an empirical research devoted to women-smokers’ image perception specificity represented in printed and electronic media in connection with the gender features of male and female sex recipients, pay attention to the psychological features of the recipients – men and women – depending on the degree of their masculine/feminine traits intensity, and analyze the differences in the perception (the degree of attractiveness) of women-smokers’ images by masculine, androgynous and feminine men.
