FAITH ROLE IN COGNITIVE DISSONANCE ELIMINATION PROCESS IN ORDINARY CONSCIOUSNESS

Abstract. The author considers faith as the process of information filtration, basing on this approach briefly defines the main principles of the action of faith filter admission mechanism, tells that in case of cognitive dissonance the variability of faith filter action appears, as expressed in the use of protection strategies by consciousness; and since this mechanism is the most evident in everyday life, describes the most common strategies of cognitive dissonance elimination in ordinary consciousness.
