Abstract.
The author reveals the features of industrialization influence on the redevelopment of Kazan’ city at the end of the 20-30s of the XX
th century in the context of a large industrial center creation on the basis of the old city and existing industrial potential, and pays special attention to the industrial sector modernization and the reconstruction plan of Kazan’, implemented by taking into account not only an economic-administrative factor, but also social-cultural and environmental aspects.
