COLLAPSE OF THE AMERICAN-SOVIET MODEL OF THE BIPOLAR WORLD AND FUEL-RAW FACTOR ROLE (THE 1980S)

Abstract.
The author discusses the question of the bipolar world system formation, the search for vulnerabilities by the USSR and the USA in the economies of each other, analyzes the possibility of the existence of the USA-Saudi plan to undermine the soviet economy by the increase in world oil prices, considers the probability of the soviet economy collapse as the result of the integrated action of a number of factors, and estimates the disintegration of the bipolar system both for the participating countries and the world in whole.
