Abstract.
The author considers the process of cultural forms and norms formation among the Slavic settlers in Stavropol’ territory in the XVIII
th-XIX
th centuries, while understanding the genesis of cultural forms pays special attention to the understanding of the cultural form as an act of activity and social interaction, its transition into cultural norms and gaining the qualities and functions of normative phenomena in social practice that can define the cultural identity of the Slavic settlers of Stavropol’ territory, and tells that the analysis of social-cultural situation allows revealing cultural forms and substantiating the authorial conception of genesis.
