Abstract.
The author analyzes the first compositions for the Russian National Orchestra of V. V. Andreev, substantiates the prerequisites for the formation of folk-orchestral performance culture from the point of view of a modern vision of professional tradition specificity in the culture of performance, reveals and revaluates the characteristic features of folk instrumental genre at an early stage of its development, and concludes that the article materials may be in demand in the theoretical and practical activity of folk-performance.
