SOURCES OF POLITICAL LATENCY: INSTITUTIONAL ASPECT

Abstract. The author determines the sources of latency at the mesolevel of a political system, pays attention to the institutional aspect of political systems functioning, tells that the object of the analysis is the functions of political parties in terms of their correspondence/lack of correspondence to the criterion of latency, and comes to the conclusion that during political parties functioning the sources of latency are the processes of political elite recruitment, the articulation and transmission of interests by political parties and also their financing.
